Hello, and welcome to my website! I'm Dave Christianson and I write, arrange, and record music where I sing, play drums and percussion instruments, perform keyboard parts, and produce my recordings working with lots of other musicians. I use Digital Performer as a front end, and I mix using DP and/or Pro Tools. I like all kinds of music from all over the world, but I'm consider myself an American musician with backgrounds in jazz music, blues & soul music, and modern "classical" music forms, with training in 20th Century music theory and compositional techniques. I've performed music professionally for over thirty years, in widely varied settings all over the US, Canada, and a little bit in Asia. I'm posting music on this site from various recording projects of mine over the last few years, released on the Macrobop Recordings label, and here are some of those recordings:

Worried About Everything
My pop and parody recording from 2004.
Strobe: Mercury
A minimalist-fusion trio project, featuring guitarist/composer Mauricio Cornejo, bassist Steve Larsen, and myself drumming and singing, recorded in November of 2008.
New & Old Leftist Favorites

A recording of some of my favorite jazz repetoire in a saxophone-piano-bass-drums-& voice instrumentation, from 1999.
Square Wave Dave: Orkester Doolie
My moniker for my midi-sequenced orchestral compositions that combine together real-time performances and synthetic sources into a sort of "orchestra-in-a-box".
